Last year, it was announced that Webtoon-based K-Drama Weak Hero Class, originally released via wavve, would have a second season, released via Netflix.
Netflix announced the news and the cast, including Park Jihoon, Ryeoun, Choi Min Young, Yoo Soo Bin, Bae Nara, Lee Min Jae, and U-KISS‘s Lee Jun Young. While the new season will be distributed by Netflix, the original production team worked together again for Season 2.

Based on the Naver Webtoon series of the same name, Weak Hero Class 2 is a survival story of Yeon Si Eun, a model student who transferred to Eunjang High School with the trauma of failing to protect his friends from violence. Park Jihoon, who plays the role of Sieun, is a voluntary outsider with no interest other than studying but shows an unexpected charm by fighting against violence after meeting precious friends.

Now, Ryeoun has confirmed that filming has wrapped for Weak Hero Class 2. He revealed via ELLE MEN HK that the cast concluded filming, and the K-Drama will be broadcast on January 25.
