Following Jin’s discharge, all the members (including Suga) came together at HYBE and posted the first OT7 photo since last December.

Shortly after the OT7 picture was shared, the United States Embassy in Seoul RT’d the post with their own image.

Congratulations on completing your military service, #Jin. We look forward to seeing @bts_twt continue to make a positive impact in [Korea flag] and around the world.

While some fans congratulated Jin and said this tweet showcased the influence, others weren’t happy and shared their discomfort with the tweet from the embassy.

In particular, many fans believed that the post was almost “pressuring” the idol and that while he will always want to make a positive impact, that it should be his choice and shouldn’t be pushed on him after completing a tough military enlistment like normal civilians.

Jin will undobutanly continue to work hard in an idol capacity after serving diligently as a soldier, but some thought the tweet was forceful.
