The latest episode of the show, which aired on June 15, KST, showed a preview of the upcoming coverage of the case. Goo Hara, whose role in aiding the investigation into the Burning Sun Scandal received new attention after the recent BBC documentary, passed away in November 2019. A mere 50 days later, a thief broke into her house and stole her personal safe, leaving all other valuables untouched.

The burglar was caught on CCTV cameras trying to enter the house through the front door using a password, which hinted at his familiarity with the house. But upon failing, he scaled the wall and entered through the second-floor balcony. Hara’s stolen safe reportedly contained important items such as her jewelry, investment documents, and old mobile phones. Given the intruder’s thorough knowledge of the house layout and the exact location of the safe, it was assumed to be an inside job.

Goo Hara’s brother Goo Ho In reported the incident to the police, but even after nine months of thorough investigation, they failed to identify the perpetrator.

In the latest preview of Unanswered Questions, Goo Ho In offered his testimony, revealing that the security cameras were blocked with leaves by the intruder. The production team also consulted an expert to analyze the available security footage and even hinted at someone who physically matched the person caught in the footage. Additionally, the team revealed a witness statement that re-emphasized that the perpetrator was someone close to the family.

According to their description, the suspect is a slim male, about 5’11” tall, who wears glasses and is in his 20s or 30s. Their team also asked for leads about anyone who was requested to open a safe that weighs about 30 kg.
