Directed by Hansal Mehta, The Buckingham Murders will release in cinemas on September 13.
Headlined by Kareena Kapoor Khan and helmed by Hansal Mehta, the much-awaited film The Buckingham Murders will hit the screens on September 13. The actress is held forcibly by cops in the film’s first look poster shared by the production house Balaji Motion Pictures on its social media handles.
“We’re thrilled to announce that #TheBuckinghamMurders is coming to theatres on 13th September 2024. Directed by @hansalmehta and starring @kareenakapoorkhan,” the post read. As soon as the first look poster was shared, fans shared their excitement in the comments section. While one of them wrote, “National Award loading for Kareena”, another added, “Finally the most awaited, the most powerful trio of industry Kareena Kapoor, Hansal Mehta & Ekta kapoor, can’t wait to see this masterpiece.”
Kareena Kapoor, who most recently appeared in the heist comedy Crew alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon, will also make her production debut with the upcoming murder mystery which she has co-produced alongside Ektaa Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Telefilms.
The Buckingham Murders, which also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen, is written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakker. The film had its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival in October 2023, and opened the Jio MAMI Film Festival 2023.
After the Hansal Mehta directorial, Kareena Kapoor will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s next film in his cop universe, Singham Again. Slated to release on the occasion of Diwali on November 1, the action packed entertainer also stars Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff in the leading roles.
