Salim Khan reveals what son Salman Khan wants in his life partner and why he is still a bachelor at 58.
From Sushmita Sen and Tabu to Salman Khan, several Bollywood actors are still unmarried in their 50s. Earlier, Salman said that it would happen when he finds the ‘one’ as he wants it to be his first and last marriage. Now, a video of the superstar’s father Salim Khan talking about the reason behind his son being a bachelor at 58 has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Salim Khan can be seen answering why his son Salman Khan is still a bachelor at 58. The writer said, “He easily gets into a relationship but lacks the courage to get married. He has a very simple nature and gets attracted easily. However, he fears whether the woman will be able to handle the family like his mother does. He wants the woman to be committed to her husband and family like his mother was. She should cook meals for the children, help them get ready, and get their homework done. However, it isn’t easy in today’s time.”
Earlier, in an interview with Rajat Sharma, Salman Khan also opened up on why he has not married yet and said, “Because when the first one goes, you think it was her fault when the second one walks out of the relationship, you think it was her fault when the third one does the same, you think the fault was in her but by the fourth time, you start to doubt and wonder, ‘Ki fault unmein hai ya mujh mein?’ (Is the fault in them or me?) Maybe it’s my fear, that I can’t give them that life or happiness.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan was last seen in the movie Tiger 3 which also starred Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The film was a commercial success. He will next be seen in the movie Sikandar, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on Eid 2025. According to reports, he also has director Vishnuvardhan’s upcoming film The Bull in the pipeline and Tiger vs Pathaan, where he will star alongside superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
