Recently, the NewJeans member went viral after she revealed that she had promoted aespa inside HYBE.
NewJeans’ Minji Goes Against Her Manager To Promote aespa in HYBE — Karina Responds
According to Minji, Karina gave Minji some stickers from their “Armageddon” promotions. She gave Minji a secret mission along with the stickers — to spread them around HYBE.
Minji revealed in a livestream that she had carried out the secret mission, even going against her managers to do so.
That’s right, I received the stickers that say stuff like ‘when aliens attack, those who haven’t heard ‘Armageddon’ will be eaten first. So [Karina] sunbaenim told me to spread it around the company. So I really did. Perhaps witness photos will pop up. Isn’t it funny? I was going to spread them, but my manager said I couldn’t so I did it secretly.

Karina reacted to the news by thanking Minji, showing off their budding friendship.

Despite the fact that Minji’s display was all in good fun, one netizen wasn’t very happy. In one viral post, a netizen writes that Minji’s actions were inconsiderate of the frail relationship between HYBE and ADOR.
Did she (Minji) really have to do that when all HYBE idols are probably walking on eggshells? It really pissed me off when she said she put the sticker on the elevator despite her manager telling her not to, and then they went on laughing among themselves. Does she not think of the other idols who might see that and the person who has to clean that up? You guys bring up ITZY, but did they put that in JYP’s building? NewJeans’ members are the only idols to do so. Think about it, why wouldn’t the other idols do the same when they are also on good terms with aespa?
