Banita Sandhu made her big Bollywood debut in 2018 with the romantic drama `October`, a film directed by the talented Shoojit Sircar, where she played opposite the charismatic Varun Dhawan. Here`s the twist – Sandhu was actually in the middle of her studies at King`s College when the golden opportunity to play the lead in `October` came knocking. Talk about a game-changer! Her performance in her very first film received a round of applause from both critics and the audience. And that`s not all – Sandhu also left a mark on the big screen in Vicky Kaushal`s powerful biographical drama, “Sardar Udham Singh,” which hit theaters in 2021.
Switching gears from Bollywood to Kollywood, Sandhu dipped her toes in the Tamil film industry by making her Tamil debut in 2019 with `Adithya Varma`.
