Queen Of Tears stars Kim Ji Won as a third-generation chaebol heiress and Kim Soo Hyun as the son of farmers, putting a spin on the wealthy-poor K-Drama trope.
Viewers found the drama predictable and, despite having a talented cast, fell short of expectations.

2. Frankly Speaking
Frankly Speaking is about story of an radio announcer, played by Go Kyung Pyo, working for who develops a disorder that causes him to speak without thinking, and a variety show’s writer, played by Kang Han Na, who uses it to her advantage on a love variety show.
Despite the interesting premise, viewers said it became just another rom-com without any interesting features, though many praised its straightforward love story.

3. Backstreet Rookie
Ji Chang Wook plays an overworked convenience store owner forced to hire a former high-school tough girl, played by Kim You Jung, from an affluent background.
Viewers found a lot of things to hate about the show, from the age gap between the two lead characters, to the racism that happened through the series.

4. Love To Hate You
Love To Hate You is about a female attorney who does not see much use for men beyond sex and an A-list actor who distrusts women, who are forced into a relationship together.
Viewers didn’t like the attitude of the female lead, and did not see much development in the characters as the series went on.

Lovely Runner has been regarded as one of the most beloved dramas of 2024. Kim Hye Yoon plays a fan who time travels to stop the death of her favorite artist, played by Byeon Woo Seok, and fix her own life.
Some found the story’s writing to become repetitive and felt characters lacked any depth beyond romance.
