Little things can become a big issue in the entertainment industry, especially in the K-Pop idol industry. Everything an idol says or does can be taken way out of context in the blink of an eye.
In particular, photos taken and posted online are difficult to believe and can cause misunderstandings until they are confirmed. Recently, an online community post garnered much attention for BAE173’s Hangyul, who was known for having many photos that could be mistaken for something else.
At first glance, it might look like he’s having a fun night out at the club, but it’s actually a photo taken at Lotte World with his teacher.
No worries, that’s not alcohol, it’s just water.
Someone posted a photo saying that they went to the Marines with Hangyul, but it turned out to be untrue and was a photo of him in middle school in his Taekwondo uniform.
Once again, it’s not soju, it’s just sparkling water!
It might look like he’s smoking a cig, but it’s just a Pepero stick.
Netizens were doing double-takes too, as it looked too real even they knew it wasn’t true!
