For the June 1 episode of Show! Music Core, aespa‘s Winter served as a special MC alongside current hosts THE BOYZ‘s Younghoon and NMIXX‘s Sullyoon.
Since the members of aespa are currently promoting their new title track “Armageddon”, they had an interview with Winter and the other MCs during the episode. During the interview, the members showed cute interactions with each other, including a moment between Winter and Karina that showcases their close friendship!
When asked to score Winter’s MC performance, Karina gave her fellow member a less-than-perfect score: 95 out of 100. Her explanation for why she gave this exact number, however, ended up being a clever pun, and the way that Winter reacted made it obvious that she hadn’t been in on the joke beforehand!

Karina: Out of 100, I will give her (MCing) 95 points.
MCs: Ohhhhh.
Karina: Because Winter doesn’t have 5 points.
Giselle: What are you saying/doing?
The explanation of the pun is this: 5 points in Hangul (오점) is a homonym of imperfection (오점). Karina is making a wordplay saying that Winter doesn’t have any imperfections!
