The pan-European Stoxx 600 (STOXX) moved 0.70% higher, after the far-right National Rally party provided some relief to investors by winning the first round of the emergency parliamentary election in France, though not by a majority. Market focus shifts to U.S. inflation numbers expected later in the day.
