Amidst rumours that Bollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan will soon be coming together with Superstar Rajinikanth for Atlee’s next, a new report states that the director may have another actor on his mind.
According to the latest buzz, Tamil cinema legend Kamal Haasan is reportedly in discussions to star in the upcoming mega-budget action thriller. A Pinkvilla report claims that Atlee’s ambitious project aims to be a Pan-India spectacle, featuring the two leading heroes from different film industries.The director has reportedly been in talks with both Salman and Kamal for the past few months and are progressing positively.
An insider told the portal that both Haasan and Khan have loved the concept that the director is working on and are enthusiastic about this collaboration, however, they will sign on the dotted line only after they have heard the full narration.Should the discussions materialise, the film would mark the first collaboration between Salman and Kamal. The project will also be Atlee’s first film since his box office smash hit ‘Jawan,’ which starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Rumours suggest that the film is expected to go on floors bo later than 2025.
On the work front, Salman is currently busy with his film ‘Sikandar,’ co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan, fresh off the success of ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ is eagerly awaiting the release of his next film ‘Indian 2.’
