Kartik Aaryan’s latest release Chandu Champion is heading for a respectable collection at the box office in the third week. The film crossed Rs 50 crore mark in the second week, with the total collection of Rs 55.55 crore.The film in the third weekend, is currently facing the heat from Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD in the Hindi circuit as the mythological futuristic film had earned over Rs 100 crore in its 4 day extended weekend eun.
Chandu Champion earned Rs 75 lakh on Friday, which was exactly the same amount it earned on Thursday. On Saturday, the film’s collection jumped to Rs 95 lakh, that is a 26 % jump on Saturday, and on Sunday the film witnessed a near 74 % jump to collect Rs 1.65 crore as per early estimates by Sacnilk, thus taking the weekend collection to Rs 3.35 crore. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 58.85 crore and is expected to cross Rs 60 crore before the end of the week.
Kartik is now gearing up for his next release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which also stars Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit. Set to release during Diwali, it will clash with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again. This film features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff. He’s also in talks with Sooraj Barjatya for his next.
