Aayush Sharma spills the beans on his parents’ reaction to his decision to marry Arpita Khan | Hindi Movie News



Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma’s love story reads like a Bollywood film. They first crossed paths through common friends at a party in Mumbai in 2011 and years later, when Aayush learned that she was considering an arranged marriage, he confessed his love for her. The two officially got hitched in a grand wedding in Hyderabad.
However, their journey wasn’t without challenges.Aayush, who was a guest on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya’s podcast on their YouTube channel, spilled the beans on his parent’s honest reaction when he expressed his desire to marry Salman Khan‘s sister.
Recalling that at the time he was just 24 years old and awaiting his Bollywood debut, his parents were taken aback by his decision to wed Arpita. As he was without a job, his parents expressed their concerns about how he would support his wife and family financially.
According to reports, Aayush’s father asked him, “You don’t work, you’re not earning money, and yet you want to marry a girl who comes from a wealthy family. How will you manage her expenses?”

To this, the hunk reportedly asked his father for financial help, however, his request was turned down.
Sharma shared that while his father was accepting of his relationship, his mother had some concerns about whether the two families, coming from different backgrounds, would get along. After addressing his family’s concerns, Aayush introduced them to his lady love and her family. He mentioned that his parents were very impressed by the Khan family’s values.

Aayush quipped that upon meeting Salman Khan, his mother remarked, “Yeh to bohot good looking hai.”
He also revealed that when his father asked Arpita if she would leave Bandra behind and move to Mandi, Salman intervened, assuring that “Arpita would follow Aayush” whenever he went.
The couple who wed in 2014 are parents to two children, Ahil and Ayat.
