‘The Midnight Romance in Hagwon’ is gearing up for its highly anticipated finale on a successful note, securing the top spot in its time slot across all cable channels as it approaches its conclusion. The latest ratings from Nielsen Korea reveal that the penultimate episode of the romance drama achieved an impressive nationwide average rating of 3.9 percent, marking a strong performance amidst fierce competition.

In ‘The Midnight Romance in Hagwon’, Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon) returns to his alma mater, not as a student but as an instructor, following his departure from a corporate career. His return is driven by a deep-seated attachment to Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won), a seasoned Korean language teacher. Hye Jin’s life, now seemingly stable after years of dedication to her profession, takes a tumultuous turn when her former troublemaking student Joon Ho reappears, igniting unexpected chaos and stirring up long-buried emotions.
In comparison, the finale of ‘Bitter Sweet Hell’ concluded with a solid nationwide average rating of 5.5 percent, wrapping up its storyline on a high note. Concurrently, ‘Connection’, airing in the same time slot as ‘Bitter Sweet Hell’, soared to new heights with an exceptional nationwide average rating of 10.6 percent, solidifying its position as the most-watched miniseries of the week across all channels.

Meanwhile, ‘Miss Night and Day’ continues to impress viewers, achieving its highest ratings yet with the sixth episode garnering a nationwide average of 6.2 percent. Across Saturday night programming, ‘Beauty and Mr. Romantic’ maintained its dominance as the most-watched program, achieving an impressive nationwide average rating of 16.5 percent.
