Ajay Devgn emphasized the value of keeping occupied, drawing inspiration from Amitabh Bachchan. He noted that everyone has a ‘shelf life’, but the key is to extend it as much as one can.
During an interview, Ajay expressed his deep attachment to his work, admitting he feels restless on days off. He also admired Singapore’s culture, where seniors are encouraged to remain active in their 80s and 90s.

In a video on the NH Studioz YouTube channel, Ajay, alongside Tabu and director Neeraj Pandey, discussed adapting to changing times.

He reflected on how over time, hobbies fade away, leaving breaks purposeless. Ajay admitted feeling happiest while on set or engrossed in work.

He added that he believes everyone should continue working throughout their lives. According to him, ceasing work to relax accelerates aging significantly. Ajay cited Amitabh Bachchan as an example, noting that Bachchan’s continuous work keeps him sharp and grounded even at his age.

Ajay expressed admiration for Singapore’s approach during visits to see his daughter, where elderly citizens are encouraged to work in roles that suit their abilities without excessive physical strain, believing in the adage ‘rest is rust’. He emphasized that staying active delays one’s expiration date, noting, “Everyone has a limit, but working harder extends that limit.”

Ajay Devgn collaborated with Amitabh Bachchan in their recent film ‘Runway 34,’ marking another project in their ongoing partnership. Meanwhile, Bachchan is basking in praise for his role in “Kalki 2898 AD,” alongside Prabhas, which has grossed over Rs 298 crore globally within just two days of release.
