​Nagarjuna praises Kalki 2898 AD; calls Amitabh Bachchan original mass hero | Hindi Movie News

Veteran actor Nagarjuna, who was recently surrounded in the ‘pushing’ controversy, took to social media to praise Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.

Taking to X ( formerly twitter), he shared that Amitabh Bachchan is the original mass hero, and his performance in the film was on fire. He also stated that he’s awaiting the second part, especially for Kamal Haasan as he didn’t get enough of him in the original.He also added that Deepika looked ethereal as she played the divine mother in the film and had the kindest words for Nag Ashwin, Prabhas and producers Ashwini Dutt, Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt.

In the first two days the film has earned about Rs 149 crore in India, and as per current numbers coming in, the film has added another 16.50 crore to its kitty from morning shows. Thus, the total collection of the film on the third day (till now) is over Rs 165 crore.
