Amid break-up rumours with Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora says, “I’ll never give up on love but I know where to draw the line” | Hindi Movie News

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are rumoured to have parted ways respectfully. This rumours sparked further when she skipped Arjun Kapoor’s birthday party on June 26. She did not even wish him on social media which she does every year. Malaika and Arjun have faced rumours of break-up earlier as well, but they’ve always slammed them, either on social media or by making an appearance together. However, that’s not the case this time.
Malaika’s absence from Arjun’s birthday raised eyebrows as the ‘Gunday’ actor partied at midnight with Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, and other close friends. Meanwhile, on his birthday, he was seen having a meet and greet with fans. Amid these rumours, in a recent interview with Hello Magazine, Malaika has opened up on love. She said, “I’ll never give up on the idea of true love, no matter what. I’m a typical Scorpio that way, so I’ll fight for love till the very end — but I’m also very realistic and know where to draw the line.”
She further spoke about how the internet can be a toxic space sometimes with constant scrutiny, trolling and more. Reacting on how she deals with it, Malaika says, “I have somehow built a mechanism — or shield, I would say — around me where I don’t let the negativity through anymore. I’ve insulated myself from it. Whether it’s people, a work environment, social media or trolls. The minute I feel that energy, I recoil instantly. It’s something I’ve learned to do over time. It would get to me earlier and I would lose sleep over it. I’d be lying if I said things don’t affect me at all — I’m human too and so I will cry, break down and have all the emotions associated with being trolled. But you’ll never see that in public.”
She further added that trolls mean nothing to her. She doesn’t live under the rock but she distances herself from this kind of toxicity.
