In Kalki 2898 AD, the setting is a place called Kashi, which is under the tyrannical rule of Yaskin, portrayed by Kamal Haasan. Deepika’s character, Sumathi, is the one carrying the prophesied child, and Prabhas‘ character is assigned the task of capturing her, while Amitabh Bachchan’s Ashwatthama vows to protect Sumathi and her unborn child.
