The mythological science fiction hit the big screens today and the grand release happened as fans celebrated outside theatres. The Prabhas starrer for the first time recorded massive business breaking the previous record set by the Telugu film ‘RRR’ that was helped by Rajamouli. The film grossed over Rs 120 crore with advance ticket booking and it is suggested by Saclink that the film will make a nett collection of Rs 200 crore on day 1 globally.
The film has already sold 1 million tickets in North America, grossing over $3.5 million on day 1 – making it the first Indian film to have the biggest opening ever.The film has also sold over 2 million tickets in India for the opening day alone, letting it gross over Rs 60 crore in India. The film since its release has been receiving a lot of praise for its grandeur visuals and unique story concept.
