Nana Patekar who worked Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’ says he meets him with the same love even today: ‘Log Bhul Jaate Hai, woh nahi bula’ | Hindi Movie News



Shah Rukh Khan who made his debut with ‘Deewana’, more than three decades ago had worked with Nana Patekar during the early days of his career. SRK and Nana shared screen space in ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman‘. In a recent interview, Nana spoke about some of his co-stars and here’s what he said about Shah Rukh Khan.
When asked about SRK and if he meets him, the ‘Parinda‘ actor said to ‘The Lallantop’, “Aaj bhi bohot pyaar se milta hai.Log bhul jaate hai, woh bhula nahi. Mujhe woh baccha accha lagta hai. Mere liye woh bacccha hi toh hua. (Even today he meets me with immense love. For me, he’s like my child, I really am fond of him. People forget people, he has not forgotten. He met me recently at International Film Festival In Goa. He always meet me with immense love, as if time has just not passed and it was just yesterday when we worked together.”
In the same interview, Nana had spoken about Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar. Talking about memories with Big B on the sets of ‘Kohram’, he said, “Further talking about his most memorable moment with Amitabh Bachchan, Nana added, “We don’t meet very often, but we used to talk a lot. I still have a letter he once sent me. After the 26/11 movie I did, he wrote me a letter saying that he admires many of my performances, but this one was special. We worked together on the film Kohram, and one morning, he came with sweets. His daughter had given birth. I asked him what the occasion was and he said ‘Nana ban gaya’. I said, ‘Woh toh hum bachpan se hain’. I also complimented the shirt he was wearing. In the evening, lo and behold, that same shirt was hanging in my vanity van. He’d gone home wearing some production shirt.”
