‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Advance Ticket Sales Cross 1 Million Mark |



Kalki 2898 AD is set to make a significant impact at the box office this weekend.
The advance ticket sales for the highly anticipated sci-fi film has confirmed that the film will make a significant mark at the box office with over 1 million tickets sold. According to sacnilk.com, the film has recorded an impressive collection of Rs 36.76 crore from an estimated 1.3 million tickets sold across multiple languages, including Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada, and various formats.
The film will have a wide release, with a total of 18,026 shows scheduled.The report further states that the south markets are proving to be the biggest contributors to the box office. Currently, Telangana leads the ticket sales, with an estimated Rs 17.92 crore nett, followed by Andhra Pradesh at Rs 8.36 crore. Karnataka has recorded an estimated Rs 4.39 crore and Tamil Nadu has recorded a collection of Rs 1.57 crore. Meanwhile, Maharashtra has recorded just around Rs 1.01 crore in advance sales.
While these numbers set the tone for the huge weekend, trade experts predict further growth, with 1 more day to go before the film hits the big screens on Thursday, June 27.
Directed by Nag Ashwin ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, which is touted to be one of the biggest and most expensive films ever made in India, boasts a star-studded cast, including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan in key roles.
The film has also recorded strong advance sales in the US and other global markets, reportedly setting it up for a huge Rs 200 crore opening.
