Jaideep Ahlawat, who is receiving much appreciation for his role in the recently released film ‘Maharaj’, portrayed the character of Jadunathji Brijratanji Maharaj in the film. For the film, Jaideep underwent a massive transformation.
The actor disclosed on Instagram that he shed about 26 kg for Maharaj by posting before and after photos of his transformation.Jaideep Ahlawat appears healthy in one photo, but he looks very different—ripped—in the other. He captioned the carousel, “From 109.7 Kg. to 83 Kg. in 5 months. That’s the Physical Transformation for the Role of Maharaj.” Additionally, the actor commended his trainer for having faith in him.

Many netizens complimented his commitment to the craft in the post’s comment section. Maharaj, which is produced by Aditya Chopra, is based on the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case. Junaid Khan portrays Karsidas Mulji, a journalist and social reformer who fought for women’s rights in pre-independence India. The film also stars Shalini Pandey, and Sharvari in key roles.
