Newlyweds Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal turn off comments section on their wedding posts

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have finally become man and wife after 7 years of dating. The couple tied the knot in a civil marriage at Sonakshi’s sea-facing Bandra West apartment with the blessings of their families and close friends. The newlyweds shared the first pictures of their wedding on Instagram, however, they turned off the comments section on their respective posts, presumably to avoid negative reactions on their special day.
Talking about the new bride and groom’s outfits, Sonakshi looked beautiful in an ivory saree with embroidery work all over it. She tied up her hair into a bun and added white roses to it. She opted for minimal jewellery. Zaheer opted for an all-white ensemble for the intimate wedding ceremony.
In the first picture, Zaheer was seen kissing Sonakshi’s hand, and in the second, they were shown registering their marriage. In the other picture, Zaheer was seen signing the papers while Sonakshi is seen holding his father Shatrughan’s arm and cutely looking at him. The last picture showed the newlyweds holding each other tenderly.

Several celebrities including Kajol, Chunky Panday, Huma Qureshi, Zoa Morani, Aayush Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah, among others have already arrived at the reception venue, Bastian, the Asian-inspired modernist restaurant on Linking Road in Mumbai.

For Sunday night’s party, the theme is black and red, and a team of decorators at work in Bastian arranged an array of red flowers and rolled out the red carpet. DJ Ganesh, who’s known for his eclectic choice of music, will be performing live at the reception.
