Ranbir Kapoor, is undoubtedly one of the most talented stars in the Indian film industry, made his acting debut in 2007 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’. Since then, Ranbir has carved a niche for himself with a series of successful Bollywood films. His notable works include ‘Rockstar’ (2011), ‘Sanju’ (2018), ‘Wake Up Sid’ (2009), Tamasha’ (2015), ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (2013), and many more acclaimed performances.
Over the years, Ranbir Kapoor has collaborated with numerous leading actresses in the Indian film industry.However, there was a notable instance when he declined a movie offer to star opposite Sonakshi Sinha in a romantic comedy. Reports indicate that while Ranbir Kapoor appreciated the script, he expressed concerns about the casting decision.
According to multiple reports, Ranbir Kapoor reportedly felt that Sonakshi Sinha looked older than him and wasn’t a suitable match for the romantic comedy they were considering. Despite his interest in the script, Ranbir expressed his concerns to the producers and requested them to consider casting a different actress in the lead role. However, when the producers were unwilling to accommodate his request, Ranbir made the decision to step away from the project.
After Ranbir Kapoor expressed concerns about the casting, the film continued with another well-known Bollywood actor in the lead role, though details about the movie haven’t been revealed.
Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his next movie ‘Animal’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
