Not many know that Disha Vakhani who is popular as ‘Daya’ from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma‘ was seen in ‘Jodhaa Akbar‘ alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. While Disha has now taken a sabbatical from the show post her marriage and embracing motherhood, fans remember her and truly miss her. Disha’s still with Aishwarya from ‘Jodha Akbar’ has now gone viral and it has sparked a hilarious meme fest.
Disha played the role of Madhavi who played Princess Jodhaa bai’s aide and accompanied her to the Mughal Kingdom after she got married to Akbar, played by Hrithik Roshan.She was also her friend and confident in this kingdom and in one of the scenes, Disha is seen crying on Aishwarya’s shoulder. This led to a meme which said, “When your best friend is getting married to Hrithik but you have to settle for Jethalal.”
However, Jethalal fans have flooded the comments section and defended him.
