‘Udta Punjab’ celebrated its eighth anniversary on June 17, 2024. This Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh starrer is one of the most celebrated films in the industry. The movie marked Diljit’s big Bollywood debut, and the singer-actor now recalled how he got an opportunity to be in the film and how manifestation worked for him.

He thought that since the movie’s title had ‘Punjab’ in it and they were casting everyone, he should also be there. Soon after, he got a call from the filmmakers who wanted to meet him, and that’s how he got the role.
On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh made a debut appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’. His musical performance was winning social media and making India proud.
Diljit Dosanjh was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ with Parineeti Chopra. He will next be seen in ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’. He will also play a key role in Anees Bazmee’s ‘No Entry 2’.
