Shenaz Treasury reveals she did not hit it off with Amrita Rao on Ishq Vishk sets, have no ‘fond memories’ with her | Hindi Movie News



Shenaz Treasury, the VJ-actress, made her debut with”Ishq Vishk”, (20003) along side Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao. However, surprisingly did not pursue acting fill-time, despite the movie being a huge hit. Shenaz, soon after the movie, went back to VJing and is currently a popular content creator, who creates fun and informative travel vlogs.

Now, as “Ishq Vishk Rebound,” is about to hit the theatres, Shenaz recently shared her nostalgia and memories of the Ken Ghosh directed movie.As the new film, starring Rohit Saraf, Jibran Khan, Pashmina Roshan, and Naila Grrewal, prepares to hit theaters on June 21, Shenaz reminisced about the unexpected success of the original film and its enduring impact.
“I can’t believe that I did Ishq Vishk. It just happened. It became a big hit and achieved a cult status. Now everywhere I go and whoever I meet, they all talk to me about Ishq Vishk. They tell me that they’ve watched it 50-55 times whereas I’ve just watched it twice (laughs),” she shared with News18 Showsha.

Recalling her experiences from the 2003 film, Shenaz described it as bittersweet, particularly noting her dynamic with co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao. While she shared humorous anecdotes about her interactions with Amrita, she admitted they didn’t quite hit it off during filming.
“With Amrita, I don’t really have any fond memory. But I do have some funny ones. I guess we didn’t really hit it off (laughs),” Shenaz remarked, recounting a memorable scene where tension between them actually enhanced their on-screen chemistry.

Speaking about Shahid Kapoor, Shenaz fondly recalled conversations they had on set, particularly a moment where he encouraged her to take her film career more seriously. Despite his advice, Shenaz eventually returned to MTV, where she had been a VJ, citing financial stability as a crucial factor at that early stage of her career.
“He told me that I should put in more work and keep going. He was right because all of that eventually paid off for me,” Shenaz acknowledged, reflecting on the impact of their discussion.
