Bollywood producer Ramesh Taurani has confirmed that the highly anticipated ‘Race 4‘ is definitely in the works, much to the delight of the franchise’s massive fanbase.
Known for its action and intriguing plots, the ‘Race’ series has established itself as Bollywood’s answer to Hollywood’s ‘Fast and Furious.’ While ‘Race 3’ received mixed reviews, the other installments have been notable hits.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ramesh Taurani discussed the future of the ‘Race’ series, as well as other potential projects. He stated, “Race 4 will definitely be made. We are also planning to continue the ‘Soldier’ franchise, with the script currently in development.” He added that the fate of ‘Ishq Vishk 3’ hinges on the performance of ‘Ishq Vishk 2,’ which is yet to be released.
Earlier reports from Pinkvilla in 2021 revealed that Shiraz Ahmed, who has been involved in writing the previous three installments, is actively working on the script for ‘Race 4.’ Taurani mentioned that once the script is finalized, the focus will shift to selecting a director and assembling the cast. The film is expected to begin production by the end of this year, although this timeline could be influenced by the Covid-19 situation.
