Actress Taapsee Pannu shared a captivating story about her Bollywood debut during her guest appearance on cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s talk show, ‘Dhawan Karenge‘. On facing failures in life, Taapsee revealed, “I feel people here take themselves too seriously. They keep thinking ‘What will happen if I fail?’ First of all, you aren’t from a royal family. It’s not like your kingdom would collapse if you fail. We are just a small speck of dust in the universe but ask too much from ourselves. This is the reason why I don’t take myself seriously but I do take my work seriously. People say no one will take you seriously if you don’t take yourself seriously, I disagree. People see me for my work that I am very serious about.”
Talking about her professional career, Taapsee Pannu began her film career in 2010 with the Telugu movie ‘Jhummandi Naadam’ and made her Hindi debut in ‘Chashme Baddoor’. She did a notable role as an undercover agent in ‘Baby’ alongside Akshay Kumar. She further gave her best performances in films like ‘Pink’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Judwaa 2’, ‘Saand Ki Aankh’, ‘Mission Mangal’, and ‘Thappad’.
In March, Taapsee married her longtime boyfriend and badminton player Mathias Boe in a private ceremony in Udaipur, keeping details of her marriage discreet.
Her most recent appearance was in Rajkumar Hirani‘s film ‘Dunki’, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.
