Tabu has consistently denied rumors of an affair with Nagarjuna. During an episode of Koffee with Karan, hosted by Karan Johar, she mentioned that such rumors have persisted since she was 16. When asked if she was moving to Hyderabad for him, she clarified, “Not because of him. It is because I made a house for myself there and because I belong to Hyderabad.” She suggested that the media tries to create an image of her that despite her relationships, she still holds affection for the Brahmastra actor. Tabu described him as “one of the closest people” in her life, emphasizing that their bond is crucial to her. She reiterated that he is “very dear” to her and that their relationship remains unchanged.
When asked about his connections with Bollywood celebrities, Naga Chaitanya mentioned Tabu, highlighting their bond. In 2022, during a promotion for Laal Singh Chaddha, Chay told Bollywood Bubble, “Bonded? Not much. Of course, maximum bonding is with Aamir sir. Tabu, a lot of bonding with her.”
