Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene have been married for over two decades, sharing a unique and special love story. In a recent interview, Shriram mentioned that Madhuri’s superstar status has never affected their relationship.
In the interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Shriram Nene was asked about being married to a superstar. He explained that he doesn’t view Madhuri that way, seeing her simply as his wife and partner.He emphasized the importance of supporting each other’s passions and maintaining a strong, mutual relationship. Despite their different backgrounds, they share a similar cultural heritage, which helped them connect. Shriram added that their relationship, based on mutual respect and support, is the most amazing thing in his life.

He mentioned that the nature of one’s job is insignificant when you find your soulmate. Discussing the difficulties they encountered as a couple, he highlighted their primary challenge as maintaining anonymity. They simply desired to live their lives like ordinary people, each taking things one step at a time. Fortunately, they both valued this simplicity and expressed deep gratitude for their situation.

He described Madhuri as a grounded and respectful individual. Some time ago, Madhuri had also shared her thoughts on marriage in a video on Sriram’s YouTube channel. She spoke about their strong partnership, where they supported each other and ensured their children were always cared for and loved. While acknowledging that there are challenging moments, she emphasized that they both recognize their efforts are for the greater good and are aligned with their mutual desires.

Madhuri married Shriram, a doctor, in 1999. After taking a hiatus from acting, she moved to the US and lived there for more than ten years. Their first son, Arin, was born in 2003, followed by their second child, Ryan, in 2005. Madhuri made her return to the film industry with Aaja Nachle in 2007, and the family moved back to India in 2011. Since then, Shriram has pursued a career as a YouTuber focusing on food and health, and together with Madhuri, he co-founded a production house called RnM Moving Pictures.
