Gulshan Devaiah is gearing up for the release of his OTT series ‘Bad Cop’. The teaser of the show grabbed attention as it also featured Anurag Kashyap in a key role.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Gulshan revealed which character he would love to play from ‘Karan Arjun’, originally starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Gulshan had an unexpectedly playful reaction to the question.He said, ‘Rakhee Gulzar.’ Rakhee Gulzar played the mother of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s characters in the movie. The actor did not choose either Salman’s or Shah Rukh’s character.
Anurag Kashyap also wanted to play Rakhee Gulzar’s role in ‘Karan Arjun’. Gulshan explained that while most male actors want to be either Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan, he wants to be Rakhee in the movie. He believes that portraying an elderly woman would be challenging, which gives him more space as an actor.

‘Bad Cop’, directed by Aditya Datt and written by Rensil D’Silva, will be released on OTT on June 21. It is an adaptation of RTL’s German drama.
