During the height of his career, Shatrughan’s close association with Reena Roy became the talk of the town, casting a shadow over his relationship with Poonam. Shatrughan and Reena eventually parted ways, allowing him to return to Poonam, reaffirming their bond.
Further, Poonam’s journey to becoming Mrs. Sinha was not without its hurdles. Her mother initially disapproved of Shatrughan, largely due to the scars on his face and the negative characters he often portrayed in films. A happy family
Their union was blessed with three children—Sonakshi, Luv, and Kush. Sonakshi, now a successful actress, often speaks of her parents’ strong bond and the values of resilience and commitment they instilled in her and her brothers. She reportedly now herself is going to tie the knot of holy matrimony with Zaheer Iqbal on June 23.
