While launching Hema Malini’s biography ‘Beyond the Dream Girl’ in 2017, Deepika admitted that she could not finish her 11th and 12th grades in her hometown of Bengaluru, as she had to keep traveling to Delhi and Mumbai for work.She tried to finish her 12th grade and one year of her degree, but the actress failed to do that and opted for distance education, which also remained unfinished due to her schedules.
She further added that her parents had a big issue with it as she is just a 12th pass. They always wanted her to start working only after securing a college degree. Anyway, she is one of the highest-paid actresses in the industry currently.
