Nana Patekar, Mika Singh, Ram Gopal Varma condemn assault on Kangana Ranaut by CISF woman constable | Hindi Movie News

Veteran actor Nana Patekar has strongly condemned the assault on Kangana Ranaut by a CISF woman constable at the Chandigarh Airport before she boarded the flight to Delhi. The incident involved constable Kulwinder Kaur, who allegedly acted out of discontent with Kangana’s stance on the farmers’ protests.
Reacting to Kangana being slapped by the constable, Nana told the media, “It is wrong and it should not have happened.” Following the incident, Kaur was suspended and an FIR was filed against her.The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which is responsible for airport security, has initiated a court of inquiry to investigate the matter thoroughly.
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma also tweeted, “The CISF constable who slapped #KanganaRanaut was at that place in her job as a security person which is what gave her access to #KanganaRanaut .. Defending that dastardly act by calling it a protest due to some comment made should be strongly condemned.”
Singer Mika Singh also expressed his concern and wrote, “We as punjabi/ Sikh community has made respect all around the world by our sewa and as saviours. It’s disheartening to hear about the airport episode that took place with #KanganaRanaut. The #CISF constable was on duty at the airport and it is her job to ensure the safety of people around. It is sad that she thought it was okay to assault a passenger at the airport due to her personal anger about another situation.she should’ve showed her anger outside at the airport in civil dress. But this is not the way to outburst your emotions. This act of hers will now affect other punjabi ladies and they might get suspended from their jobs just because of the mistake made by one. Kuchh karan tau pehla socho, aur mai kise vi politics party da chamcha ni haiga na supporter haan , jo galat hai oh galat hai. Sat sir akal..”
