Veteran actor Suresh Oberoi recently opened up about the challenges he faced in launching his son Vivek Oberoi’s career in the film industry. In his recent interview, Suresh recounted how he tirelessly worked to secure opportunities for Vivek, often sitting outside producers’ offices with his son’s photo in hand.
Discussing his reaction to Vivek’s decision to follow in his footsteps, Suresh told Bollywood Hungama, “I have groomed him since his childhood.I made him do stage shows, got him to do acting classes, and even a course with my senior from FTII.”
He elaborated on the lengths he went to for Vivek’s career, stating, “For Vivek, I would struggle. I would sit outside offices with his photos in my hand. Ram Gopal Varma’s office and all these other offices. It was a second struggle for me. Then, ultimately, Ramu (Ram Gopal Varma) gave him his first film.”

Vivek Oberoi made his Bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s film Company, co-starring Ajay Devgn, which marked the beginning of his acting career.
