Kangana Ranaut made a remarkable debut as a politician as she was elected from the Mandi seat in the Lok Sabha Election 2024. Days after the victory, Kangana was spotted at the Chandigarh airport, where she reportedly faced an untoward incident.
A viral video on the internet recorded the actress turned politician being assaulted physically by a female CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) official.Kangana was headed to Delhi when this incident occurred at around 3:30 pm.
Issuing her first reaction in the matter, Kangana shared a video upon reaching Delhi and stated, “Firstly, I am safe and perfectly fine. What happened at Chandigarh airport, it happened during the security check. As soon as I finished the check, a CISF personnel in another cabin waited for me to cross her and instantly came towards me and hit me on my face. She also abused me. When I asked her why she did this, she said that she supported the farmer’s protest. My concern is that the terrorism that is which is growing in Punjab, how do we handle that?”

According to reports, the guard involved in this incident was Kulwinder Kaur and she was upset with Kangana for speaking against the farmers’ movement. According to reports, the actress has demanded that the CISF guard should be removed and action should be taken against him as soon as possible.
During her debut as a politician, Kangana emerged victorious with 5,37,022 votes. Celebrating the big win, the actress had shared on social media, “Heartfelt gratitude to all the people of Mandi for this love and trust… This victory belongs to all of you, this is the victory of your trust in Prime Minister Modi and BJP, this is the victory of Sanatan and in the honour of Mandi.”
