Sunny Singh and Karthik Aaryan have shared the screenspace in several popular films that have resonated with audiences. They first appeared together in ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, a comedy-drama that became a hit and showcased their on-screen chemistry. Following that, they collaborated again in the successful romantic comedy ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, where their camaraderie and comic timing were widely appreciated.Apart from their collaborative films, Kartik Aryan and Sunny Singh were last seen in films namely, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ and ‘Adipurush’ respectively.
And now the actors are set to clash at the box office for their upcoming films. While Sunny Singh has ‘Luv Ki Arrange Marriage‘ starring Avneet Kaur, Supriya Pathak, and Annu Kapoor, Kartik is releasing on June 12 on Zee5. On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan has a biopic-sports drama, ‘Chandu Champion‘, releasing in theaters on the same date.

When ETimes asked Sunny about his views on the box office clash with Kartik Aaryan, the actor was more than happy to explain. He said, “Every year, we keep making films. We act in three or four films. So, people love us, and that’s the most important thing. And my journey with Kartik has been like that. We used to go to events and functions; sometimes we even travlled together in rickshaws during our initial days in the city. From there to here, we are both very emotionally connected to each other, and today, we are still friends—all of us. (Sunny Singh, Kartik Aaryan, and Luv Ranjan). Despite the fact that both films are releasing on the same day this month, we are not concerned; we don’t even know whether we will work together on a film again. But we do know that we are there as friends for each other. And we stay very close. So, it’s a bond that has lasted for 10–12 years and will always remain.”
Luv Ranjan directed Sunny and Kartik’s ‘Pyaar Ka Punchanama 2’ and shared a warm rapport with the two actors. Talking about him, Sunny said., “LUv Ranjan, sir, comes first for us. We have a team that we are connected with.”
