‘Connection’ starring Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do hits record ratings high with latest episode



‘Connection’, the gripping new thriller featuring Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do, continues to hook audiences with each passing episode. The latest installment of the series, aired on June 1, achieved its highest viewership ratings to date, according to data from Nielsen Korea.

With an average nationwide rating of 7.9 percent, the fourth episode of ‘Connection’ marked a milestone for the show, reaching a new all-time high in terms of viewership.The surge in ratings reflects the growing intrigue and engagement surrounding the complex plot and outstanding performances delivered by the talented cast. Notably, ‘Connection’ emerged as the top program across all genres aired on Saturday among viewers aged 20 to 49, securing an average rating of 2.7 percent within this key demographic.

In the same time slot, competing dramas such as ‘Bitter Sweet Hell’ garnered an average nationwide rating of 4.9 percent for its fourth episode, trailing behind the soaring success of ‘Connection’. Moreover, other dramas also vied for viewer attention. ‘The Midnight Romance in Hagwon’ held its ground with a respectable nationwide average of 4.1 percent, while ‘The Atypical Family’ and ‘Missing Crown Prince’ maintained steady performances with average ratings of 3.6 percent and 3.5 percent, respectively.

However, amidst stiff competition, ‘Beauty and Mr. Romantic’ maintained its stronghold as the most-watched program of Saturday, commanding an impressive average nationwide rating of 15.4 percent for the night.
