Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang had planned 2nd attack on Salman Khan at Panvel farmhouse; Navi Mumbai Police arrest 4 accused: Reports | Hindi Movie News

In April, Mumbai Police had arrested two shooters outside actor Salman Khan’s Bandra house. Now as the latest update, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly plotted another attack on Khan at his Panvel farmhouse, according to Navi Mumbai police.
According to Panvel police FIR copy, the jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, his Canada-based cousin Anmol Bishnoi, and accomplice Goldy Brar had plotted to kill actor Salman Khan. They planned to source sophisticated weapons, including an AK-47, M-16, and AK-92, from a Pakistan-based supplier.
Police sources revealed that the objective was presumably to attack Salman Khan’s vehicle or storm his farmhouse. Investigators are still unclear why a second plan was initiated to fire at the actor’s Bandra residence.
Recently, Navi Mumbai police arrested four individuals linked to the earlier plot and are searching for at least 15-20 other members of the Bishnoi gang who had been staying near Khan’s farmhouse since February this year. The gang has been targeting Khan due to his involvement in the killing of a blackbuck in Rajasthan in 1998 during the making of a film.
The arrested accused have been identified as Dhananjay Tapesingh, also known as Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia, also known as Nahvi, Vaspi Khan, also known as Waseem Chikna, and Rizwan Khan, also known as Javed Khan. However, the conspiracy came to light last month when senior inspector Nitin Thackeray received information that a group of people were planning an attack on Khan’s farmhouse.
Previously, the Mumbai police arrested four suspects: Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were apprehended in Gujarat, while Anuj Thapan and another individual were detained in Punjab on April 26. In total, six arrests have been made, although Anuj Thapan died in police custody.
