Rohit Shetty who recently wrapped up the shooting his highly anticipated film, ‘Singham Again, in Kashmir,’ expressed gratitude to the people of Kashmir on his Instagram account.
Shetty described the Kashmir shoot schedule for Singham Again as “incredibly amazing and emotional” and shared his thoughts on how the abrogation of Article 370 has transformed the region.
Rohit shared a text which read, “We always had a paradise in our motherland called Kashmir but once there was terrorism, unrest, curfews, no social life. And then Article 370 got abolished. 5 years later we landed up filming Singham Again. And now the New Kashmir. Happiness. Young energy. Tourism. Peace. Love. Naye Bharat ka naya Kashmir.”
The video not only included text but also featured several glimpses of Ajay Devgn during the ‘Singham Again’ shoot in Kashmir. Rohit Shetty was captured interacting with police officials, meeting children, and signing autographs.
In his post’s caption, Shetty expressed gratitude to PM Modi, stating, “Had the most amazing and emotional schedule. Thank you for the tremendous love Kashmir.”
Recently, Ajay Devgn shared a picture from the Singham Again Kashmir shoot schedule, where he sported an intense expression in a police uniform surrounded by army tanks. He captioned it, “On Duty…AGAIN!”
For the unversed, ‘Singham Again’ is the fifth film in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Apart from Ajay Devgn and Jackie Shroff, Singham Again features a bevy of actors including the likes of Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor among others.
‘Singham Again’ is slated for an August release and is set to clash with Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa- The Rule’, which is also going to hit the screens on August 15.
