ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin under fire for alleged exploitation of NewJeans members’ parents ahead of HYBE audit | K-pop Movie News

Recent revelations have shed light on purported attempts by Min Hee Jin, the CEO of ADOR, to leverage the parents of NewJeans members, allegedly even prior to the onset of HYBE’s audit. According to emerging evidence, discussions between CEO Min Hee Jin and the head of the ADOR unit reportedly took place just a day before parents of NewJeans members dispatched a letter of grievance on March 30.
In this dialogue, CEO Min Hee Jin is purported to have articulated her intentions to actively engage the parents of NewJeans members, provided it didn’t breach any stipulations in the shareholder agreement. She was quoted as saying, “Is this written from the moms’ perspectives? We should consider the tone of delivery”, while suggesting, “We can actively exploit the fact that moms did not sign contracts with HYBE. Are there any clauses worth objecting to?” according to AllKpop.
Moreover, on April 20, a mere two days before HYBE began an audit of ADOR, there were purported strategies devised to undermine the parent company, HYBE. It was allegedly stated, “The moms will be the ones filing complaints with the Fair Trade Commission. It wouldn’t look right for the subsidiary to file a complaint. It’s better if the moms criticize. The fact that moms filed a complaint alone will prove innocence. If the subsidiary company complains, there can be accusations of harming the company”.
During the hearing on May 17 for the injunction against the exercise of voting rights filed by CEO Min Hee Jin against HYBE, the latter contended, “CEO Min Hee Jin instructed that if she or ADOR raised issues, it would constitute a violation of the shareholder agreement, so the parents of NewJeans members must express their dissatisfaction first. She only used NewJeans and their parents for her own goals”.
In response to these claims, CEO Min Hee Jin’s camp refuted the allegations, stating, “It is not true that the NewJeans parents followed CEO Min’s instructions. They were urged to express their anger at HYBE’s wrongdoing and voluntarily wrote the letter of complaint to ADOR”.
