During a Mother’s Day event organized by YFLO, Sharmila Tagore, the 79-year-old actor, mentioned Sara Ali Khan’s penchant for storytelling and playful pranks during her childhood.Tagore praised Sara’s remarkable confidence as a child, noting her fearlessness in expressing herself.

Sharmila Tagore commended Sara’s confidence, noting her lack of intimidation around anyone. Despite being well-mannered, she always infused entertainment into the atmosphere.

Over time, Sara has developed a reputation for being a playful, humorous,

prankster on-screen. While Sharmila Tagore noted that this aspect of her personality was always present, Sara herself expressed concerns about not being perceived seriously due to her penchant for jokes in an interview with Indianexpress.com.

She acknowledged that because of her humorous and outgoing nature, people might perceive her solely in that light. Sara expressed that if she had a few more cups of coffee, she could even crack adult jokes. However, she emphasized that her playful side doesn’t overshadow her grace or depth. Sara lamented the tendency for people to see things in extremes and questioned why one couldn’t possess both humor and self-respect. She admitted to being silly and funny, but stressed that it didn’t define her entirely. Sara admitted to the risk of trivializing herself and not being taken seriously by others.
