Director Ram Gopal Varma wishes an unhappy Mother’s Day; here’s why | Hindi Movie News

In a series of tweets, the ace director expressed a unique perspective on Mother’s Day, diverging from the typical sentiments of love and appreciation.

Ram Gopal Varma‘s first tweet read, “I wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, except for the mothers of the people who I hate, to whom I wish a very #Unhappymothersday.” This statement immediately garnered attention for its stark contrast to traditional Mother’s Day wishes.

Continuing his unconventional stance, RGV shared another tweet questioning his own role as a son. He wrote, “I am a bad son to a good mother ..So do I blame my good mother for raising a bad son like me ? #UnHappyMothersDay.” This introspective tweet added another layer to Varma’s unorthodox perspective on the occasion.

This is not the first time Ram Gopal Varma has stirred controversy with his Mother’s Day wishes. In 2021, he took to Twitter with a similarly unconventional message, excluding his own mother from his wishes. “All mothers keep giving birth, but I want to wish only those mothers who gave birth to quality products, but definitely not to my mother who gave birth to a good-for-nothing bum like me ..Hey mom, I wish u a very UNHAPPY MOTHER’S DAY because I never gave u a day’s happiness,” he wrote.

Ram Gopal Varma’s tweets sparked debate and divided opinions among netizens, with some expressing disagreement and others finding resonance with his sentiments. One netizen commented, “It’s you, who was raised by yourself. Don’t blame your good mother.” A second one commented, “Your own mother won’t agree that you are a bad son. She has given treasure to the Telugu industry.”
