As anticipation mounts among Bollywood enthusiasts for the highly-awaited sequel ‘Raid 2‘, reports suggest a possible shift in the film’s release date. This project directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, is in its final stages of production, with approximately 10 days of shooting left to complete. The film stars Ajay Devgn again and this time around, Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh are new additions to the movie.

According to Pinkvilla, while the majority of filming is already wrapped up, the remaining scenes are slated to be shot by July. Initially scheduled for a November 15 release, speculations arise regarding a potential rescheduling of ‘Raid 2’s release. Reportedly the decision could be influenced by the forthcoming release of ‘Singham Again‘, helmed by Rohit Shetty and Jio Studios, during Diwali 2024.

According to the reports, the production team, led by Kumar Mangat, is contemplating advancing the film’s release date. Rajkumar Gupta is currently overseeing the editing process, aiming to have the final print-ready by the end of July.
Officially announced by the makers, ‘Raid 2’ marks Ajay’s return to the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, reprising his character from the original 2018 hit. With Ajay Devgn’s presence and Rajkumar Gupta’s directorial prowess, expectations are high for another gripping installment in the franchise.
