Taapsee Pannu FINALLY opens up on her secret wedding, says while she chose this career, her partner did not | Hindi Movie News

Taapsee Pannu has finally confirmed her marriage to longtime boyfriend, Mithias Boe, in a private wedding ceremony. Last week, videos from their wedding surfaced online, revealing Taapsee in bridal attire. In her first post-wedding interview, Taapsee confirmed her marriage but expressed her reluctance to share photos with the public.

While talking to Hindustan Times, the actress said that she is not sure if she wants to subject her personal life to public scrutiny.

She added that she chose this career, not her partner or the guests at the wedding. That’s why she kept it private. It wasn’t about secrecy, she simply didn’t want it to become a public spectacle and then worry about public perception. She further mentioned that’s why there are no plans for a public release, as she does not feel mentally prepared for it. The people who were there were there for her, not to judge, so she was relaxed.
Meanwhile, her sister, Shagun Pannu, revealed that she organized the wedding. As a wedding designer, Shagun handled everything so Taapsee could enjoy her special day. She said that Taapsee wasn’t demanding during the wedding planning. She entrusted everything to her and just wanted to have a good time. The guest list was limited, so she didn’t have to stress about anything.
Taapsee and Mathias met in 2013 at the Indian Badminton League inauguration, building a friendship that evolved into love. Despite their hectic schedules, they have maintained a strong relationship away from the spotlight, culminating in their beautiful wedding this year.
Taapsee Pannu has a busy lineup on the work front. She will next appear in two films, “Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba” and “Khel Khel Mein.”
“Khel Khel Mein,” directed by Mudassar Aziz, boasts a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal in prominent roles. The storyline revolves around a group of friends reuniting after a long hiatus, leading to comedic mishaps.

“Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba” serves as a sequel to “Haseen Dilruba,” which premiered exclusively on the OTT platform Netflix in July 2021, receiving positive feedback from audiences. The original starred Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu, and Harshvardhan Rane in lead roles. In the sequel, Taapsee will be seen alongside Vikrant and Sunny Kaushal, continuing the intriguing narrative.
