BTS Persona Trailer: BTS’ ‘Persona’ trailer featuring RM surpasses 100 million views on YouTube



RM’s ‘Persona’ trailer has marked a significant achievement on YouTube. Released as part of BTS’s comeback teaser campaign for ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA’, the trailer, featuring RM’s solo track ‘Persona’, has crossed the impressive threshold of 100 million views on March 21, at approximately 6:30 p.m KST. This achievement comes nearly five years since its debut on March 28, 2019, at 12 a.m. KST.

In BTS’s tradition, each member takes center stage in a solo trailer as part of their comeback teasers, with the featured song often serving as the introductory track to their upcoming release. ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA’, released on April 12, 2019, marked the beginning of a new era for the group.

Previously during a live broadcast, RM delved into the concept behind ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’, the first installment in the series. Explaining the significance of the title, RM remarked, “To me, a ‘persona’ is a mask used in society. A mask can be a bad thing or a good thing, but it’s something you need when you’re living within a society. My ‘persona’ is RM”.

‘MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA’ comprises seven tracks, including ‘Intro: Persona’, ‘Boy with Luv’, ‘Mikrokosmos’, ‘Make it Right’, ‘HOME’, ‘Jamais Vu’, and ‘Dionysus’. Each song contributes to the overarching narrative of the album, exploring themes of identity, self-discovery, and societal expectations.
