Billie Eilish creates Oscar HISTORY with Best Song win for Barbie song ‘What Was I Made For’ |



Billie Eilish cemented her place in Oscar history by winning her second Academy Award for Best Original Song with her track ‘What Was I Made For‘, the original soundtrack for the hit movie ‘Barbie‘.
At age 22 singer and her singer-songwriter brother Finneas O’Connell (26), are now the youngest talents to win two Oscars under the age of 30. They scored their first Oscar two years ago for the James Bond theme song ‘No Time to Die’.
Before Billie and Finneas, the record for the youngest person to score two Oscars was held by actress Luise Rainer, who was 28 when she won her second Best Actress award in 1938.
Accepting the award, Eilish said, “I had a nightmare about this last night. I feel so incredibly lucky and honored.”

The sibling pop duo took home the Grammy Award for Song Of The Year for the melancholic hit last month.
The siblings are now among the few stars who have managed to score two Oscars by 30. This list includes Jodie Foster and Hilary Swank.
Eilish’s victory is also currently the only win for the ‘Barbie’ movie that was nominated in 6 categories. The film is also up for a Best Picture nomination.
