Who’s who of Bollywood made a glamorous appearance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivity in Jamnagar. The three-day affair saw celebrities decking up as royalty and dancing away to the tunes of Rihanna, Akon, Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh and Shreya Ghoshal among others.
However, some prominent names were missing from the do. Hrithik Roshan was not present at the pre-wedding festivity, seemingly because of a health issue.Days before the functions, the actor had shared a picture in crutches, revealing that he had pulled a muscle and was in pain. Karan Johar, who attended Anant and Radhika’s engagement ceremony last year, was missing from the pre-wedding celebration. Priyanka Chopra, who had flown down with Nick Jonas for the NMACC opening, missed the functions in Jamnagar. However, her mother Madhu Chopra attended the events.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, who welcomed their second child last month, are currently stationed in London and could not participate in Anant and Radhika’s ‘Hastakshar’ ceremony. Kajol was also missing from the celebration, but Ajay Devgn and Nysa made up for her absence. No members from the Deol family were also present at the ceremony. Shilpa Shetty and family were not spotted at the celebrations.
However, for those who were in attendance, it was an event to remember. Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan took over the stage for an unforgettable performance. Adding to the extravaganza were special acts by members of the Ambani family.
